UCSB Identity Services is responsible for the planning, development, and operation of enterprise authentication and authorization services for use by campus service providers and partners.

Our services include master data management for source person data, authentication and provisioning, campus directory search, Identity federation services, and affiliated infrastructure for 24x7x365 operation.

UCSB Identity Services is managed as an independent subgroup within the Office of Information Systems & Technology, reporting to the Associate Vice Chancellor for IT and CIO. Our charter is managed by the Information Technology Board, and we work in consultation with the Identity Management subcommittee of the Information Technology Planning Group.
